The clear prelaunch version
Promises with edges.
These are the operating rules for Blueprint requests and the no-payment Haldi pilot queue. The seller identity and final consumer terms must be completed and reviewed by Canadian counsel before any paid checkout opens.
C$69 Decor Blueprint
A measured planning service.
The founding scope is one 20-minute intake, one measured palette/moodboard, bill of materials, dated source list, setup diagram, venue questions and one consolidated factual or fit revision. The 48-hour delivery window begins after payment clears and the intake is complete. A Blueprint is not structural, venue, electrical or safety engineering advice, and source prices or stock can change after their checked-on date.
Physical-pilot gate
Proof before payment.
Only one 6–8 ft Sunlit Haldi kit is entering a five-order pilot. Physical payment stays closed until the exact golden sample survives three setup cycles, a non-founder reproduces the scene in 45 minutes or less, and live stock, component list, labels, delivered cost, promised date and refund path are confirmed in writing.
Shipping and timing
Built around the event date.
The pilot accepts only event dates at least four weeks away. Tracked Canadian delivery is quoted separately from the measured sealed carton; there is no pilot free-shipping promise. Carrier estimates are not treated as inventory proof, and House of Sooraj declines a date when the buffer is unsafe. U.S. fulfillment is not part of the founding launch.
Home pickup will not be offered until address-specific municipal, lease/condo and insurer rules are confirmed.
Cancellation, damage and remedies
The exact path comes before payment.
The final seller agreement will state cancellation, return, damage, shortage, replacement, delivery-failure and refund terms before payment and preserve applicable statutory rights. A customer will be able to correct identity, address, date, product, contents, exclusions, price and delivery before accepting it. A blanket “no refunds” statement will not replace those rights.
For the controlled pilot, customers will be asked to retain packaging and report visible damage or shortage with photos within 24 hours so an event-safe replacement can be attempted. That inspection request will not remove statutory remedies.
Blueprint and pilot requests
A request, not a purchase.
A site submission records interest and authorizes no charge. Blueprint requests are reviewed for one of five founding service slots. Only qualifying Haldi dates may later receive a physical-kit agreement. Mehndi, Sangeet and other size submissions are roadmap demand signals—not product reservations or availability promises.
Abstract colour compositions show art direction, not exact product photography. The Haldi pilot page will use the approved physical sample before payment opens.
Privacy
Only what helps plan the service.
We collect contact, event, room, postcode, budget and preference information submitted through the guide, Blueprint and pilot forms. It is used to provide requested materials, evaluate fit and respond about House of Sooraj. We do not sell personal information. Marketing messages require optional consent and can be stopped.
Before paid launch, the owner must add the legal seller, mailing address, privacy contact, retention schedule, service providers and required Canadian disclosures. Permission to use customer photos is separate and never a condition of service.
